What is Love and Logic?
Love and Logic® is a philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered and more skilled in their interactions with children.

The technique is equal parts of empathy with consequences to provide optimum learning from mistakes. This helps raise children who are self-confident, motivated and are able to solve their own problems when they meet life’s challenges.

Why does it Work?
  • Creates a home/school environment that stimulates responsibility, resiliency, and academic achievement
  • Participants learn how to avoid power struggles while setting limits
  • Teaches character and responsibility through modeling and the application of logical consequences instead of punishment
  • Teaches children to become healthy problem-solvers
  • Uses humor, hope, and empathy to build up the adult-child relationship
  • Emphasizes respect and dignity both for children and adults
  • Teaches consequences and healthy decision-making to help children become more prepared to resist drugs, alcohol, violence, and other dangerous situations.
